Radar‘s Loss Is TheWeek.com’s Gain

Radar magazine may have folded two years ago, only to reemerge later as an online-only pop culture zombie version of its former self, but its legacy lives on through its original writing team — a team that’s reassembling for The Week‘s site, TheWeek.com.

Business Insider is reporting that the current affair magazine’s website is bringing in six new hires, including Dale Hrabi, Radar‘s former deputy editor. Hrabi is bringing along two other former Radarites: Jebediah Reed will be TheWeek.com’s new deputy editor and Hailey Eber will work as associate editor.

Deidre Depke, formerly the editor of Newsweek.com, will be TheWeek’s first-ever general manager. Jessica Hullinger will come as an audience development manager for the site and David La Cross will be its digital marketing manager.

And in further happy, smiley, sunshiny news: Hrabi has said he is looking to make more hires in the near future.
