Quepasa, a gianormous Hispanic online entertainment/news site, will help promote the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival in October. The festival will feature 125 films, documentaries and shorts and will draw celebs like Salma Hayek, Jimmy Smits, Eva Longoria, J-Lo, Andy Garcia, and Angelica Huston.
According to the press release:
The partnership includes a number of cross-promotions. Quepasa.com will promote the festival on its highly trafficked website, host film trailers through it new streaming video capabilities, and connect ticket buyers and sellers through its fast-growing online community.
FBLA has yet to create a similar deal, though we’re still holding out hope that the folks at the Environmental Education and Exotic Wildlife Rescue Center will let us embark on a cross-promotional campaign for their Creepy Crawly Creature Feature, an event that boasts displays of “edible bugs.”
We don’t know why, but the fit between us and fried meal worms just feels right.
