After spending seven months without a CEO, quadrantOne has called upon SVP of national sales Mario Diez to lead the way. According to a Mediaweek report, quadrantOne has been looking to fill the opening since former CEO Andy Ellenthal left the company for ad firm Peer 39 in April. Diez has previously worked in executive sales roles at both Daltran Media and Centro.
quadrantOne works with major newspapers in an effort to draw ad revenue to their local news sites. They were founded in 2008 and represent over 500 newspapers including titles owned by The New York Times Company, Tribune, Hearst Corp., and Gannett.
