Prevention's Liz Vaccariello Stepping Down

Liz Vaccariello, the svp, editor of Prevention, who was widely praised for a redesign of the magazine and raised its profile through her books Flat Belly Diet!, 400 Calorie Fix and other extensions, is stepping down, parent Rodale announced.

Vaccariello will continue as a spokesperson for the titles she wrote. Bill Stump, svp and editorial director of Prevention, will oversee Prevention while the company searches for a new top editor there.

Vaccariello is the second high-ranking change in recent months at Rodale, which Maria Rodale took over as CEO last year.
