PR Firm Boxing Event Crashed By Police

Mother PR got a visit from the cops on Friday after word spread that the firm would be hosting another installment of their “Friday Night Throwdown” events, Fight Club-style boxing matches featuring male models as pugilists.

As Gothamist points out, the fights have been around for a while (they were on hiatus for a few months), starting as a kind of secret thing and then becoming pretty popular. A very angry source tells the site that it was probably “some asshole” who ratted them out.
