POLITICO Magazine Explores Money, Politics, and Power in 2014

image001It’s Thursday, and therefore, we’re looking ahead to the weekend and figuring out what magazine we look forward to reading come Saturday afternoon.

This week, it’s POLITICO Magazine, which, among other things, examines Washington through a lens of money, politics, and power.

The cover promotes three articles: The Pitchforks are Coming… For Us Plutocrats, by Nick Hanauer; Karl Rove and the Modern Money Machine, by Kenneth P. Vogel; and The Myth of America’s Golden Age, by Joseph E. Stiglitz.

Also included – Checks and Imbalances – a special report that asks: “Is our society rigged? That’s what a growing number of Americans believe, and reams of statistics indicate: Economic and political power is now concentrated in fewer hands than ever before, while the middle class wastes away.
