Politico Appoints Two Managing Editors

One current staffer, one new.

Politico editor Carrie Budoff Brown and editor in chief John Harris announced today the appointment of not one, but two managing editors. One of the pair, Karey Van Hall, was chosen from within Politico’s ranks, while the other, Sudeep Reddy, joins from The Wall Street Journal.

Van Hall, who had been news editor since joining Politico in March 2015, will be responsible for “running the core newsroom, essentially formalizing a job she has already performed with an uncommon amount of grace and ease,” according to a memo from Brown and Harris.
