PlayHaven brings mobile advertising tools to Corona Labs developers

[caption id="attachment_37184" align="alignnone" width="650"] Image via Corona Labs & PlayHaven[/caption] PlayHaven has announced a new partnership with Corona Labs, creator of the Corona SDK development platform, which will see associated mobile game developers now gaining access to PlayHaven’s suite of mobile marketing tools. The move will see developers given an easier way to monitor and manage app users at every stage of their “lifecycle." Corona’s platform is popular with developers, as it allows for 10x faster development and publishing of mobile applications across multiple platforms with a single code base. With the implementation of the PlayHaven plugin, those same developers will be able to create targeted marketing campaigns, increasing user engagement and monetization in the process. “As app stores become increasingly competitive, it’s our mission to give developers the tools they need to build a sustainable business while also giving them the freedom to access our business engine in whichever development environment they choose,” says Charles Yim, Chief Operating Officer of PlayHaven, via a company release. “We look forward to working with Corona’s community of developers, and arming them with tools to acquire, engage and monetize players both in and out of their game.” Corona has previously partnered with mobile video ad network Vungle and value-exchange ad platform SponsorPay, giving developers access to multiple third-party services in an effort to increase their potential and success after launch. The company’s developer community includes DirtyBit, NBC Universal, Glitch Games and Elevate Entertainment. “PlayHaven offers game developers a comprehensive toolset to improve app marketing and generate more revenue,” added David Rangel, COO of Corona Labs. “We’re excited to offer our developers more choices in app monetization and marketing services as we continue to make Corona the best tool for app creation.” PlayHaven expanded its own services earlier this year. The platform now includes a push notifications program, giving developers the chance to advertise in-game sales or otherwise instantly draw a user’s attention back to an application they may have not used in some time.
