The lack of graphics novels in the Kindle ebook catalog has been a disappointment for me. Yes, I understand that the Kindle reader device is monochrome and not suitable for color comic panels. However, there are a lot of people who use Kindle apps on tablets with great color displays that would be perfect for graphic novel viewing.
Fortunately, it looks like comiXology is testing the waters for graphic novels in their iPad (iPhone) app. comiXology provides iPad apps for most of the major comic book publishers including DC and Marvel.
