Phrases, Video, Badoo, Pages, Photos and Yahoo on This Week’s List of Top 20 Facebook Apps by DAU

Applications to make customized Page tabs, watch and share videos, see your horoscope, view photos, date using Badoo and share wise words with Phrases made up our list of top 20 Facebook apps by daily active users this week. The apps grew from between 115,600 and 3 million DAU. Our list is compiled using AppData, our data tracking service covering traffic growth for apps on Facebook, and covers those that gained the most users in the past seven days. Static HTML: iframe tabs grew by 3 million DAU this week; the app allows users to build customized iframe tabs for their Pages. Then Profile HTML grew by 241,100 DAU and allows users to build tabs with HTML. A couple of video apps, Videohane with 295,600 DAU and Kral Video with 274,800 DAU, allow users to view, share, Like and comment on videos. Kral Video has a pop-up asking users to allow the app to post daily to their Wall. A Daily Horoscope app with 650,00 new DAU this week grew mostly in Turkey and allows users to see their horoscope, offers to share the app with friends who have a similar sign and posts daily to your Wall. The app also automatically posts to the stream when you begin using it. 60 Photos is an app allowing users to click “nice” or “pass” on the photos of their Facebook friends, then posts the answer to their Wall. Yahoo grew by 190,600 DAU, Badoo by 159,800 DAU. Badoo’s app is still asking users questions about their friends’ dating and friendship habits, then posts the answer to their Wall. Finally, Phrases grew in France, Italy, Mexico and the Philippines by 137,300 DAU but the app, which provides users with sayings they can share, is not available in the United States.
