Phone Calls via Twitter? Jajah!

JajahLogo2.jpgFacebook has its Vivox, and now Twitter has its Jajah.

Just days after Vivox announced that it was beta-testing a high-fidelity voice service for Facebook, Jajah announced Jajah@call, which lets Twitter users send tweets with @call @username (user name being the intended recipient of the call), and provided that the other Twitter user is a follower and a Jajah user, a two-minute call is launched, free-of-charge, MobileCrunch reported.

Jajah@call works via PC or mobile phone and via Twitter itself or Twitter clients including Seesmic (Web and desktop), TwitterBerry (BlackBerry), Tweetie and Twitterfon (iPhone), and Twidroid (Android), according to MobileCrunch.

Jajah also has a partnership with Yahoo! for its instant-messaging users, according to GigaOM.
