Peter Hamby Explores Political Campaigns in New Weekly CNN Series 'Hambycast'
CNN Politics and CNN Digital Studios today announced the launch of “Hambycast,” a weekly series with Peter Hamby exploring political campaigns.
“This is the fun part of covering political campaigns,” says Hamby in the debut episode that takes him to a University of South Carolina tailgate with Texas Governor Rick Perry who spent the afternoon “hobnobbing” with donors and Republican legislators. “There’s a lot of speeches and policy rollouts and just sort of road campaign events, but so much of politicking is going to places like this which is essentially a big old carnival.”
