Peter Gammons Out Of Hospital

Longtime ESPN analyst and Hall of Fame baseball writer Peter Gammons has been released from a Boston-area hospital after suffering an aneurysm June 27.

Gammons’ wife Gloria‘s statement yesterday [via ESPN]:

Peter, his family and his doctors are very pleased with the progress that Peter has made following surgical repair of a brain aneurysm. Peter will be leaving Brigham and Women’s Hospital today and transitioning to a rehabilitation center to continue his recovery. We all want to thank you for the positive thoughts and good wishes that have been sent Peter’s way.
