PETA's Bob Barker Building Opens Thursday

It’s only fitting that the man who told us for years to spray and neuter our pets will have a PETA building named after him.

Former The Price is Right host Bob Barker donated $2.5 million to renovate a building for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals in 2010.

Fast-forward two years later and PETA’s West Coast headquarters is ready for business.

The Bob Barker Building officially opens Thursday and the 88-year-old will be on hand for the grand opening of the new home to PETA’s media, marketing, youth outreach and campaign departments.

According to the Associated Press, the new building features, “a new art deco façade, a rebuilt public sidewalk and eco-friendly cork floors, and will have rooftop solar panels.”
