Periscope Lets Broadcasters Send Share, Follow Invitations to Viewers
Periscope released an update for its iOS app, which includes a new tool for broadcasters and a viewer action button for viewers.
Periscope released an update for its iOS application, which includes a new tool for broadcasters and a viewer action button for viewers.
With this update, when a user is broadcasting, they can now send an invitation to their viewers to follow their account or to share their broadcast from the broadcaster actions area.
Elsewhere, viewers can now tap a “…” button next to the comment box when they’re watching a broadcast to bring up a list of viewer actions. This list allows users to quickly follow the broadcaster, share the broadcast with others, hide the broadcast’s chat or report the broadcast.
Periscope is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store.
