Per New Survey, Execs Give March Madness Morale Two Thumbs Up
This just in…office betting is en vogue and better than ever.
Well, kind of.
According to a new survey released by OfficeTeam, the NCAA basketball tournament provides opportunities for colleagues to foster relationships in the office. Almost one-third of senior managers participating in the survey mentioned activities related to brackets boost employee morale.
More than one-quarter believed March Madness boosts productivity. Essentially, managers were asked if they felt March Madness activities like watching games or participating in pools that don’t involve money have a positive or negative impact on employee morale.
