BuzzFeed has named Frank Cooper chief marketing and chief creative officer. He’s BuzzFeed’s first CMO.
Cooper comes to BuzzFeed from PepsiCo, where he served as CMO of global consumer engagement for the past five years. He had been with PepsiCo since 2003.
Prior to his time at PepsiCo, Cooper held executive roles at AOL and Def Jam Records.
“Our company is evolving from a growing U.S. website to a global media company with massive scale,” said BuzzFeed’s president, Greg Coleman, in an announcement.
