People Magazine Adds Second Deputy Editor
Dan Wakeford will work alongside deputy editor, entertainment JD Heyman
This afternoon, one deputy editor shared news about another.
Eddie Roche, deputy editor for The Daily Front Row, got his hands on a February 9 Time Inc. memo announcing the appointment of an additional deputy editor at People magazine. Per the announcement, Dan Wakeford is joining the publication in that capacity, effective immediately:
Editorial director Jess Cagle said: “Wakeford will oversee all human-interest, service and royals content for the brand. Deputy editor JD Heyman will continue to oversee all entertainment content — including the Picks and Scoop sections, which he has added to his portfolio.”
