Hulu Plus members, I hope you’ve got some free time this weekend because approximately two hundred PBS episodes have now been added to the service. Hulu Plus members can now watch dozens of episodes from Ken Burns Library, plus shows like Masterpiece: Downtown Abbey, episodes of PBS Kids series including Arthur, Dinosaur Train and Wild Kratts, and additional episodes of NOVA, American Experience, and Masterpiece.
Robert Schildhouse of Hulu Content Acquisition writes on the Hulu Blog, “PBS is dedicated to good stories, well told. Their viewers are passionate about what they have to offer – television that is smart, absorbing, informative and even addictive. It’s precisely the kind of content we look to bring to the Hulu Plus subscription service. This is true of Ken Burns’ fascinating documentary films, the sweeping drama of Masterpiece Downtown Abbey as well as PBS Kids content that engages young minds where helping children build the skills they need to succeed in school and in life.”
The PBS content joins other popular shows like the The Office, Grey’s Anatomy, Parks and Recreation, Family Guy, New Girl, Vampire Diaries, Alcatraz and other series available to Hulu Plus users.
