Paying Tribute to Mothers: KISS FM Style
It’s the best way KISS FM/WRKS can honor moms on their big day–with a concert.
The Emmis-owned Urban station features Valerie Simpson, headlining a Mother’s Day concert to remember May 19. Simpson is the surviving half of famed singer/songwriting pairing with her husband Nick Ashford. It will be Simpson’s first time hitting the stage since his death last August.
The concert, at Broadway’s Beacon Theater, will be a chance for Simpson to pay tribute to her legendary partner and their equally legendary music.
