Another way for Facebook page administrators to compare the performance of their pages with those of their competitors comes from Facebook application creator Cool Tabs in the form of Page Performance, which analyzes the last 50 posts on a page and contrasts them with their rivals’ efforts.
The free feature allows page admins to analyze and monitor how their pages stack up when compared with those with similar like totals.
Cool Tabs CEO Alfredo Solano said in a release introducing Page Performance:
In our experience, social network strategy should not be static, but rather it should be constantly subject to change. We have to become observant and work out what works well for us and what doesn’t. We know that updating a Facebook page is very easy, yet getting it to be a productive tool for our company is not quite as easy.
