In the latest issue of D.C. Style, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer dines with Marc Silverstein at the Palm and raises the notion of “The Full Ginsburg”–that is, the marathon performance by Monica lawyer William Ginsburg when he appeared on all five Sunday shows at the height of the scandal.
Wolf appears to have hit the Full Ginsburg himself: In addition to a profile in the Hill last week, we see him Style, penning a column in the new Capitol File (in addition him–and his daughter–appearing in the mag’s party pictures), and to top it all off with a sighting of Wolf in today’s “Names & Faces” column:
“CNN’s Wolf Blitzer was spotted dining with Washington Wizards president Ernie Grunfeld Saturday night at the swanky Chinatown restaurant Oya. Could Wolf be the new team mascot?”
At least they had the decency to make the joke so we don’t have to.
It’s almost as if he didn’t have a cable news network that consisted almost solely of him. The best quote from it all? From Style: “CNN is good for me; I’m good for CNN.”
That’s certainly one way of looking at it.
