Orange Cinema Service Gets HBO, Warner Bros.
Time Warner’s Warner Bros. International TV and HBO have both signed on to make some programming available to Orange Cinema Service, an upcoming pay-TV service from the French mobile and IPTV operator.
Variety reports that this is the first content deal for HBO in France and will include the miniseries “John Adams,” the upcoming series “True Blood” and select back-catalog programs. Warner is contributing such movies as “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” and “I Am Legend.”
