Digital publisher Open Road Integrated Media has expanded its marketing department. The company’s Chief Marketing Officer Rachel Chou will lead the new team, which will focus on social media, viral distribution and emerging technologies.
The new marketing team includes new hires, as well as in-house promotions. Lauren Naefe joins Open Road as Senior Digital Marketing Manager, who will focus on publishing partnerships and author brand marketing. Allison Myers Underwood will report to Lauren Naefe as Marketing Manager. Laura De Silva has been promoted to Associate Digital Marketing Manager.
The new team will help support the growing number of Open Road projects. Earlier this week, Open Road announced a partnership with Mysterious Press to publish classic mystery novels in the digital form.
