Facebook introduced two new Open Graph tags tailored for journalists and media outlets — one that lets publishers link articles to their Facebook pages, and a second that allows them to link articles to the authors’ pages.

Facebook said in a post on its developer blog:

article:publisher lets a publisher link an article to their own Facebook page. When the article is shared in News Feed, a like button is displayed so people can like the publisher page.
