One Show Proves Design Is "Alive and Well-Regarded"

Even though they’ve recognized design since 2001, The One Club pulled off its first-ever One Show Design Awards as a separate occasion late last week and the gallery of winners is now online. Although it’s difficult to tell exactly who besides Apple came out on top, we’ll raise a glass to all who walked away as proud owners of a pencil or two. Their work will be up at the Chelsea Art Museum until July 20 as evidence, according to the press release, that design actually exists:

From rock concert posters to beer bottles to practically everything Apple designed in the past year, the very first One Show Design awards ceremony proved that design excellence is indeed alive and well-regarded in the realm of branding and communications.
