One Day on Earth, the amazing collaborative film project that documented life on earth in every country on 10/10/10 and 11/11/11 is at it again this year. On 12/12/12 they will be launching their largest filming event to date, telling the world’s story in a day once again, and you can be a part of it.
Over 30,000 contributors, 100 causes and people from every country around the globe (including the South Pole!) will be filming the world, from the landscapes to the people, the music, the art, and more, during one 24-hour period on December 12, 2012.
As always, this is a huge undertaking. Kyle Ruddick, Founder and Director of One Day On Earth, told me via email, “We have big plans this year and hope to ship another 400 cameras across the globe. One Day on Earth DVD purchases and donations will support sending cameras to the developing world.” To donate, visit http://www.onedayonearth.org/store. You can also sign up to take part in the filming on the One Day on Earth website.
