Ogilvy PR Staffs Up In CA To Handle Government Accounts
Paul Hefner has joined Ogilvy PR as a senior vice president of the agency’s Public Affairs Practice Group. Hefner will be based in Sacramento and will support the office’s government accounts, including the $9 million California High-Speed Rail Authority account the agency won in November 2009.
The hire makes perfect sense for Ogilvy, as prior to joining the agency Hefner served as a media and political consultant, with clients including California Forward’s reform proposals and California’s statewide infrastructure bonds (Propositions 1A – 1E).
