Official Steve Jobs Bio Coming in November
The book's author is former CNN CEO Walter Isaacson
The release of Steve Jobs: A Biography—the first official bio of the Apple founder—is now scheduled to hit bookstores on Nov. 21, nearly five months ahead of its original release date.
Simon & Schuster had planned to release the book (originally titled iSteve: The Book of Jobs) in March 2012, but decided to move the date forward because “the book is now ready,” according to the publisher.
The book’s author, Walter Isaacson, former CEO of CNN and former managing editor of Time, collected more than 40 interviews with Jobs and hundreds of interviews with “family members, friends, adversaries, competitors, and colleagues,” says Simon & Schuster.
