O.C. Register To Be Sold?
Orange County philanthropists George Argyros and Larry Higby are interested in buying the Orange County Register, according to the Orange County Business Journal. (The Reg itself remains silent on the issue.)
The move might help the foundering paper get back its footing, particularly since the Journal reports “The businessmen reportedly expressed a desire to keep the Register independent and locally owned.”
