NYU Carter Journalism Institute To Reward Coverage Of Underreported Topics

NYU’s journalism program is on the lookout for reporters with an eye for stories that often go unnoticed in today’s media.  According to an NYU press release, The Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute is encouraging increased awareness for “underreported subjects of public interest” with their presentation of The Reporting Award.

The Reporting Award debuted in 2009 as an initiative to inspire young journalists to cover bold issues that are frequently overlooked due to staff and budget limitations within news outlets.
