NYT Now and NY Times iPhone Apps to Relaunch in May
The Times is serious about the mobile revolution.
As expected, The New York Times will soon unveil new forms of its NYT Now app and its main iPhone app.
NYT Now will relaunch on May 11 as a free offering. The app currently asks non-subscribers to pay $8 per month for access to curated Times articles and pieces from around the Internet.
The main Times iPhone app will relaunch May 24, alongside the Times’ Apple Watch app. The Times said the new iPhone app will be “visual” and “serendipitous,” and “introduce a new mobile voice.”
