Last week Gawker pointed out that something about the New York Times was sounding awfully familiar, as in, haven’t we read this before? We had the exact same experience this Sunday upon opening the Style section and glancing the article about how Manhattan is currently being overrun by foreigners taking advantage of the low dollar who treat the city like their own private “bargain bin,” or was it, “Candyland.” Hmmm, hadn’t we also heard this before? Turns out we had Slate ran an almost identical article at the beginning of June. All the news that’s fit to rehash maybe?
