NYT Classified Ads To Run In Metro New York

Need further proof of the staying power of free daily newspapers in New York? In a deal announced this morning, the New York Times says it will begin distributing its classified ads through Metro, the free daily newspaper popular with subway commuters.

Via the release:

Denise Warren, chief advertising officer for The New York Times Media Group, said: With this agreement, our classified advertisers will be able to reach an even larger, engaged audience, with the ease and convenience of one-stop shopping.
