Nymag.com Launches Fashion Blog

A new blog just launched out of New York mag’s stable of online publications. The new blog is The Cut — a fashion blog edited by Amy Odell (Party reporter, New York/Asst. Editor Jewcy.com) and featuring contributions from the Fug Girls, fashion editor/Look Book mistress Amy Laorcca and New York mag fashion director Harriet Mays Powell.

Nymag.com honchos are planning between five to ten posts a day for the site.

Nymag.com Launches “The Cut”

New Fashion, Shopping and Beauty Blog to Kick off Fashion Week Coverage

Nymag.com, the Website of New York magazine, announces The Cut (http://nymag.com/daily/fashion/), a new fashion, shopping, and beauty blog, to kick off its massive coverage of New York Fashion Week. The Cut will build on the success of the site’s award-winning Show & Talk blog and be edited by Amy Odell. Along with Odell, regular nymag.com correspondents the Fug Girls and New York magazine fashion director Harriet Mays Powell and fashion editor (and Look Book author) Amy Larocca will contribute content.

The Cut is being launched as a year-around blog, with round-the-clock updates during Fashion Week, followed by a soft launch through February. Ultimately users can expect five to ten posts per day on the latest trends, fashion news, industry gossip, party reports, and much more.
