NYC Marathon Cancellation Announced On Twitter
It may have taken too long for anyone’s liking, but it looks like Mayor Bloomberg finally came to his senses and cancelled New York City’s marathon, scheduled to take place this Sunday in the hurricane-ravaged city.
And guess what? His office announced it via Twitter.
After mounting criticism from pretty much everywhere and everyone, including folks scheduled to run in the marathon, New York City’s Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, finally gave in and nixed the event, with his office announcing the decision
