NTT Docomo Demonstrating No-Glasses 3D Cell Phone Display Prototype

Nintendo announced plans to introduce a no-glasses 3D mobile game console (Nintendo 3DS) next year. So, why shouldn’t a no-glasses 3D display for cell phones be in the works too. That’s what Japan’s NTT Docomo is demonstrating this week:

The specs?
– 2.57 inch display
– 1028×768 pixels (higher than most netbooks)
– 3D images will be 320×240
– Display is NOT capable of showing 2D images – there should be a way to overcome this issue
