NPR 'Moving Deck Chairs' of Bureaus in Asian and Middle East

An internal memo from Loren Jenkins, supervising senior editor of NPR’s foreign desk: The Foreign desk is getting ready to move the deck chairs around its global deck, particularly in Asia and the Middle East. The shifts of personnel and bureaus will take place over the course of the summer, staggered so that we can still keep a flow of news pieces and two ways as people move around. In China, Shanghai correspondent Louisa Lim will be moving to Beijing and replaced in Shanghai by Rob Gifford, a former Beijing correspondent, who will return to China after four years in London.
