Screen Shot 2014-05-19 at 15.33.37Each May, outlets across the country cover the prolific speeches offered at university commencements, and NPR now offers a tool to collect the best of the best.

With support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and The Wallace Foundation, NPR Ed will collect ‘The Best Commencement Speeches, Ever,’ a pool of 300 addresses dating back to 1774.

According to an NPR release announcing the hub, “Famed and lesser-known remarks from actors and entrepreneurs, writers and politicians are all searchable by speaker, college, year and theme (‘Dream,’ ‘Play,’ ‘Inner Voice,’ ‘Fight for Equality’ and ‘YOLO’) with links to the full versions of each speech and videos when available.
