Not Just Messages, But Wall Posts Receive Email Love
Messages weren’t the only goodies to receive an update from Facebook late last night. In addition to having messages appear within your email inbox, the Facebook team has added the same functionality to wall posts from friends. See below for an example.
I find this WAY more useful than the initial message-email visibility since I receive more “XXX posted on your wall…” emails than “XXX sent you a message.” This is a great improvement to the bread and butter feature within the site.
