Nokia Wants Your Video Shorts

If you think your video short has what it takes, Nokia invites you to upload it to the company’s Ovi mobile Web portal by April 15. Registered Ovi users will then vote for their favorites and the top five films will be screened on May 10, at the Pangea Day broadcast event in Los Angeles. Pangea Day is the brainchild of documentary filmmaker Jehane Noujaim who wanted to find a way to use film to get people to “consider the world from someone else’s perspective,” according to Fierce Mobile Content.

To be considered for the contest, submissions need to be less than two minutes long and focus on “acts of kindness, inspirational figures, the best part of the day or something that makes you smile.”
