No More Short Series?

Sure, a Bob Woodward book isn’t the exact same thing as a series on Chandra Levy’s murder, but we noticed that Woodward’s book excerpts are running far longer in the Washington Post than the Levy series did.

When the Post ran its 12 part Chandra Levy series, the pieces were quite short and digestible (about 1500 words each), prompting us and others to wonder whether “perhaps the Post is trying out a new type of series: More parts, smaller word counts.
