No More Naked People on Chatroulette

Like a zombie, Chatroulette won’t die (as some have predicted). Rather, it’s attempting a comeback with a purge and a contest.

In a press release, the video chat company announced that it had taken down and blocked “inappropriate content.” Which was likely why many people went to the site, so that’s disappointing.

And they’ve launched a search for a new logo and website design. Anyone with a good idea can submit it by May 11, with a $1,000 prize going to the winner in each category.

According to TechCrunch, the site has tried to rid itself of other people’s naughty bits in the past and failed. But now they’ve hired a team to keep it clean. And there are plans for more projects in the works. Now will you use it?
