NJ's Carney to Roll Call
Eliza Newlin Carney has accepted a job writing for Roll Call’s lobbying and influence team. Carney is currently a contributing editor for National Journal, where she covers campaign finance, Washington’s influence industry and pens a weekly election law column called “Rules of the Game.”
Before joining NJ nearly ten years ago, she covered Capitol Hill for States News Service. Carney has taught journalism at George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs, and written freelance articles for American Journalism Review, Governing, Government Executive and Presstime magazines.
