Oakland Tribune columnist Tammerlin Drummond (pictured) is back on the beat after a stint at Harvard as a 2013-14 Nieman Fellow. Although her area of focus was very serious, she has also in a summary of her leave of absence managed to touch on the lighter side of the experience.
