Empire totaled 4.005 million interactions, more than four times the total posted by second-place finisher ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, at 976,000.

Meanwhile, the National Football League continued to monopolize the list of televised sports events, accounting for nine of the top 10 by total interactions.

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ unsuccessful visit to the in-state rival Philadelphia Eagles topped the list with 6.135 million interactions, while the lone non-NFL game was the college football contest in which the University of Florida fell to host the University of Tennessee.
