Nielsen Social Content Ratings, Week of Oct. 9: All Hail the 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards

The NFL’s dominance was put on hold by the MLB playoffs

The 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards rapped their way to the top of the Nielsen Social Content Ratings for the week of Oct. 9.

The event tallied 5.802 million interactions across Facebook and Twitter, more than 10 times the total accumulated by the second-place finisher on the chart for TV series and specials, Riverdale on The CW, at 515,000.

USA Network’s WWE Monday Night Raw pinned the third spot, with 509,000 interactions across the two social networks.

On the sports side, the National Football League’s dominance was put on hold by the Major League Baseball playoffs.
