Nexus One the Result of Three Partners: Google, HTC, & Audience

Like many people, I thought of the Nexus One smartphone as the result of a two partner team: Google and HTC. However, I learned of a third partner after watching the video embedded above: Audience. This firm specializes in building voice processors that can deal with noisy environments. As we learned during the Nexus One launch one of its unique features is that it contains two microphones. The one on the back of the device helps reduce the noise transmitted from the Nexus One to the other phone.
