Video views on Newyorker.com also jumped by 35 percent in July, and they’re up by 112 percent for the year.
Overall, readership to Newyorker.com is up by 22 percent compared to last year.
As you might have guessed, the New Yorker’s political stories have driven the traffic boom. July’s most popular story was Jane Mayer’s exclusive interview with Donald Trump ghostwriter Tony Schwartz, who finally admitted that maybe he’s not the best judge of character.
