NewWest CEO And Founder Moves, Uh, More West
Jonathan Weber, who co-founded online media startup NewWest.net, is leaving to become editor-in-chief of the Bay Area News Project.
For the past year, he wrote a column about being the CEO of a small business for Slate’s The Big Money, and recently he wrote about why he’s handing his biz off to someone else.
“I’ve also struggled at times with my own weaknesses as a CEO. I think I’ve done a pretty good job with the product vision, the editorial, and the conferences, and I’m very proud of the team we have put together.
